Montreal Favorites

$10.00

Curated and photographed by Maud Simon.

“The first time I visited Montreal, I was surprised by its duality. Some parts made me think of old European cities, whereas the downtown skyscrapers reminded me that I was, in fact, in North America. For me, this duality is what makes for the charm and singularity of the city — from the quietness of the Griffintown neighborhood to the effervescence of St. Catherine street. In a few minutes, you can easily swap the city for nature and go skiing at Mount Royal or explore the vast Botanical Garden. Montreal is lovely at all seasons, but I must say that the snow gives it a certain charm. The first time I discovered it was in winter, and I’ll always remember it. Mixing good food, architecture, contemporary art, and local shops, Montreal is a vibrant city with a communicative energy. This guide will help you to discover all these facets.”

Format: Digital travel guide (20 places and 59 pages). You’ll receive a link to download the PDF file, optimized for mobile.

What to expect: rather than an exhaustive directory, this guide offers select points of interest and venues that have been carefully curated by Maud, a French Independent journalist and photographer living in Toronto. It includes:

- a complete list of her favorite addresses in Montreal: little shops, restaurants, and architecture treasures;

- useful copy explaining why you should go to each spot, what’s a must-have and when is the best time to go;

- beautiful photography to give you a first glance of the places;

- an online map with all the spots so you can easily visualize them and get directions to get there.

Pathport travel guides were created for the travelers with an aesthetic sensibility, looking for the most beautiful addresses wherever they go.
